Calcdraw Calculator (the "App") is an offline-first, canvas-based calculator developed by Silas Tawn ("we," "us," "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and follow a minimal-collection principle.
INTERNET permission. It is used exclusively for purchase-token verification with our backend and, optionally, for anonymous crash diagnostics. It is never used for advertising or user tracking.Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
We do not process special categories of personal data (Art. 9 GDPR).
Your local data resides on your device and is cleared when you uninstall the App (unless you have exported it). Purchase tokens are transmitted over HTTPS to our backend and retained only as long as necessary to validate entitlements. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data; however, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Our backend service is hosted on Google Cloud (United States). If you are located outside the United States, your purchase token may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required by law (including GDPR Chapter V), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Google's standard contractual clauses.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access, rectify, or erase your personal data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect, disclose, or share; request deletion of your personal information; correct inaccurate personal information; opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information; limit the use of sensitive personal information; and non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
We do not sell or share (as defined by the CCPA) your personal information. The only personal information we process is the purchase token described above, used solely to fulfill your purchase. The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA where parental consent is required). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us personal data, contact us to have it removed.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified in the App.
